My journey of doll making has extended over many years and over this time and I discovered that I could turn my sculpts into Porcelain Dolls.  I sculpt the original head, hands and legs, I then create molds from these sculpts ready to pour the porcelain.  After the porcelain has been cleaned 
it is ready for anywhere up to 15 layers of China Paint.  The bodies are a “soft body” made from a strong material. I create the wigs which are made from Tibetan Lamb or Alpaca, and dress them with a mixture of quality fabrics from satins, silks, silk brocade, to cotton, linen and laces. Depending on the doll, I will hand dye some of the fabrics and laces that I use to suit the chosen colours.  I make shoes from material or leather. Each doll has her own personality and is handcrafted from 
scratch, and so there will never be two that are the same, making each doll, One of a Kind.
